Technical Presentation and Dinner Meeting

The Project Management Institute – Arabian Gulf Chapter (PMI-AGC), is pleased to invite you to our next Technical Presentation and Dinner meeting. On this occasion, Eng. Imad Al-Sadeq will deliver a presentation on “Agile - Why, What, and How?”.

Admission to this event is strictly by pre-registration and is limited to PMI-AGC members in good standing.

Admission is free PMI-AGC Members. Please note family/children are not invited. Registration is necessary since the seating is limited. You may register no later than 27th May 2013 at 12 noon.

General Abstract of the Presentation:

The Technical Presentation aims to introduce some advanced variations on project management practices and highlight specific features of the agile project management and the differences between agile and traditional project management approaches.

Speakers’ Profile:

Mr. Al-Sadeq started his career fifteen years ago in software development. Progressively he built a deep Project Management (PM) experience which enabled him to deliver consultation, coaching, and training services in private and government for different fields; information technology, construction, and research & development, currently Imad is the Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) director of Saudi Arabia Ministry of Labour.
He has been leading different initiatives for establishing and operating Project / Program Management Offices (PMOs) in both government and private sectors based on agile and business driven mind-set.
This accumulative and real experience helped Imad to author a group of new PM concepts; where he -over the past six years- presented it in technical papers and speeches mainly in EMEA region (France, Netherlands, Italy, Ireland, Malta, KSA, Bahrain, and Egypt), in addition to that Imad contributed in different PM Books as a lead author and co-author.
In addition for being OPM3, MSP, PMP, and PMI-RMP certified from PMI, Imad is considered a very active PMI volunteer where he contributed to the OPM3 second edition, he also helped PMI Education Foundation (PMIEF) in translating PM High Schools Curriculum into Arabic, also was selected to be Registered Education Provider (R.E.P.) advisory group member for three years, and recently was assigned as PMI Education Foundation Liaison for PMI-AGC. Imad currently is studying Master of Arts in Leading Innovation and Change.
