The Project Management Institute – Arabian Gulf Chapter (PMI-AGC), held a Technical Presentation and Dinner meeting in February 22, 2010, at the Sunset Beach Resort, Al-Khobar, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The reception will started at 6:30PM while the program commenced at 7:00PM, followed by dinner.

 

General Abstract of the Presentation:

An exploration into the concept of establishing a Project Management Office, with insights around the concept of becoming projects oriented organization in order to recognize successful results through revolutionary projects, or remaining a service oriented organization through evolutionary strategies.

Mr. Osama Bakir, with more than twenty years experience in various diversified management positions, Engr. Osama has gained strong skills and expertise in managing large scale projects and programs by implementing the best practices of project management processes and procedures according to the Project Management Institute (PMI) standards, through real success projects implementation, project management consultation, and most frequently project management training; with lots of emphasis on results and customer satisfaction.
