Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification Exam Preparation

- Arabian Gulf Chapter will be conducting a
5-day seminar on Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification Exam Preparation. The seminar is scheduled from
31 July to 4 August 2010, at the at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The timings for the 5-day seminar shall be from 8:00am until 4:00pm.
The 5-day seminar will allow the participant to earn the
35-Contact Hours and meet the PMI Project Management Education requirement for the PMP Exam. The seminar is based on the
4th Edition of the PMBOK Guide.
Objectives:
The objectives of this seminar is to help participants to understand the PMP Certification requirements, prepare for its Certification Exam; and learn the skills, concepts, techniques and tools that will help participants to successfully manage their projects.
In addition to the training materials, each participant will be provided with a copy of the
'PMBoK Guide 4th Edition' (paper book). Upon a successful completion of the program, each participant will receive a ‘Certificate of Completion’ on the last day.
Instructor's Profile
Eng. Akram Alnajjar, is a creative and innovative leader with proven successes in the areas of project and Program management. He is known for his accurate identification of project management organizational needs and for devising unique solutions to improve projects, and Programs (Multiple Projects). After he started his career 25 years ago in the Construction industry, Eng. Akram has worked with projects and programs in Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Iran, and Nigeria. He has helped to introduce project management techniques in the governmental & privet sectors and has provided project management excellence training worldwide in Moscow , Saudi Arabia , Dubai , Abu-Dhabi , Bahrain , Kuwait , Oman , Sudan , Algeria and Egypt. His last positions as employee was in Port-Harcourt Nigeria as Projects control Manager for Agip / ENI group one of the leading Italian oil and Gas Company. Where he was responsible for planning and scheduling all company’s gas projects and cost control activities as well, he implemented PMI Project Management system as it was company’s system. In addition to being a Professional Civil engineer, He is 1st certified PgMP® in Egypt “Program Management Professional “by Project Management Institute (PMI®). Eng. Akram is certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP®) by the Project Management Institute (PMI®) as well. He is also a Certified Planning & Scheduling Professional (PSP) by AACEI the Advance Association for cost engineering international, Eng. Akram holds a Post graduate Diploma in Construction management from Ain-Shams University in Cairo.
