We would like to inform all our members that our past President Mr. Mohammed Hammad, plus Mr. Anthony Ikhimokpa, Sr. VP Admin & PR have tendered their resignations. The PMI-AGC Board met on May 13th in Dubai, to deliberate on this matter and their resignations were accepted.
Four qualified individuals were nominated as candidates for the Chapter President Position.
Nine board members voted by secret ballot where Mr. Hashim El-Rifaai was elected as the Chapter President going forward. Mr. El-Rifaai was the Kuwait Region President for the past few years and also held the position of Chairman of PMI-AGC Conference for consecutive 2 conferences that were held in Bahrain.In addition to the above, the Board has also appointed Mr. Abul N. Kamal as Sr. Vice President of Admin & PR effective immediately.
Since Mr. El-Rifaai accepted the position of the Chapter President, the Board unanimously agreed to appoint Mr. Wael Al-Jasem as his successor for the Kuwait Region.
The board congratulates Mr. Hashim El-Rifaai as new Chapter President, Mr. Wael Al-Jasem as Kuwait Region President and also Mr. Abul N. Kamal as Sr. Vice President of Admin & PR for their well-deserved appointments.
